The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is one of the most visited memorials, and certainly is one of the most emotional. The wall has 58,256 names inscribed on it to represent those killed in the conflict. Volunteers and veterans are often at the wall to help visitors and families locate the names of friends and loved ones. A rubbing from the wall is usally taken to help remember the sacrifice others have made for us.
